This total organic carbon analyzer provides online TOC analysis specifically for compliance with USP Chapter <643> and EP 2.2.44 TOC measurement requirements. This model monitors both TOC and conductivity (as optional) in bulk water for injection (WFI) and purified water (PW), with a wide range of 0.03 ppb to 2500 ppb.
The patented integrated online sampling system (IOS) provides unparalleled ease in applying both SST (system suitability) and calibration standards, online without the need to disconnect or do any plumbing activities.
It employs the Proven membrane conductivity detection technique to eliminate false positive readings. False positive TOC that typically occur with older online TOC devices are caused by organics that contain strong acid - forming oxidation by products.
This SIEVERS patented technology is the only online TOC method that is not susceptible to false positive errors.
SIEVERS uses a continuous on line sampling, design, where in getting the real value of TOC in water and is very responsive to any fluctuation of TOC, (which is truly online) unlike the stop flow method.
Also the 500RL represents the latest technology including ozonated water compatibility and optional advanced software features designed to support compliance with the 21 CFR requirements for electronic records. This DATAGUARD is embedded, allowing users to integrate the 500RL into the sites' compliance framework. This includes features like user login with multiple access levels and audit trail functionality.
Excellent calibration stability for typically 12-month is possible with biannual calibration verification. Comprehensive validation support is available with easy to perform IQ/OQ guidelines for instrument validation. A complete validation support package is also available including PQ and software validation documentation.
It requires very low maintenance of about 15 minutes annually. This instrument does not need any gases or reagents. Ready to use standards. A complete family of pre packaged high quality system and calibration standards are available. All TOC and conductivity standards are traceable to USP or NIST.
