Indchemie's soft gelatin plant receives TGA approval

The Rs 65 crore Indchemie Health Specialties' soft gelatin unit located at Daman has received an approval from the Therapeutic Goods Administration, Australia (TGA). The company plans to utilize this approval for filing few niche drug products available in soft gelatin formulation in the regulated markets of Europe & US which are getting off patent in coming years. This TGA approval, achieved in record time, puts Indchemie in a special league, stated a company release. The company also hopes to receive approvals for this soft gelatin unit from UK MHRA & US FDA shortly. Going by the performance and product line, Indchemie is confident to achieve Rs 100 crore turnover by year end. Indchemie Health has entered into strategic alliance with partners to market its OTC, food supplements and dugs in soft gelatin presentation. Its product profile includes antibiotics, anti-infective, anti-osteoporotic, analgesics, anti-inflammatory, anti-allergies, anti-malarials, and various vitamins preparations.
