Venkateshwara Biosentry India Limited (VBIL), a group company of Venkateshwara Hatcheries has introduced Resillium EA, claimed to be a highly effective hand and skin disinfectant that kills micro-organisms and germs within 15 to 30 seconds.
According to a company press release, it contains 70 per cent v/v Ethanol I.P. with Didecyl Dimethyl Ammonium Chloride and works quickly and effectively.
The product is effective against resident & transient flora, and has ultra fast activity and high residual effect, preserves the natural moisture balance of skin even after repeated use and is safer than products containing Isoprophyl alcohol.
The easy to use disinfectant need to apply on washed and dried hands and is advised to rub the disinfectant all over the hands and nail grooves for 15 to 30 seconds. For surgeons, the same process should be repeated thrice upto the elbows before proceeding for any surgery.

The product comes in a pack of 100 ml for Rs 50/- , 500 ml for Rs 225 and 5 litre for Rs 2200. It is currently available in Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Orissa and West Bengal.
