Ind-Swift net sales at Rs 83.43 cr in Q1

Ind-Swift Ltd, Chandigarh based pharmaceutical company, achieved marginal growth of 4.7 per cent in net profit during the first quarter ended June 2006 to Rs 5.36 crore from Rs 5.12 crore in the corresponding period of last year. Its net sales increased to Rs 83.43 crore from Rs 70.53 crore, registering a growth of 18.3 per cent. The earning per share worked out Rs 1.44 as compared to Rs 1.41. The company commenced the commercial operations at Baddi to manufacture tablets, injectibles and liquids. Further, it has also laid the foundation stone for the putting up another new facility for cephalosporins and soft gelatin capsules in Baddi.
