Universal Power Transformers Pvt. Ltd., Bangalore, has announced the opening of its new manufacturing facility in Haridwar, Uttaranchal. The new facility is located in an industrial area developed by the State Industrial Development Corporation of Uttaranchal.
The facility is built on a plot of 4,100 sq. meters with a constructed area of 2,300 sq. meters. The unit has been built to manufacture power, distribution, furnace, converter, inverters and all other transformers required for special applications of rating up to 3150 kVA, 33 kV. The manufacturing process will employ lean manufacturing techniques, complete in-process quality controls and service standards. Universal Power Transformers has been supplying transformers for various applications for the last 25 years.
