India Pharma-2006 along with India Chem 2006 in Mumbai from November 8 to 10

The Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) in association with Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals, Government of India, is organizing the 4th international exhibition & conference on India Pharma-2006, concurrent with India Chem-2006. The event is schedule to take place between November 8th- 10th 2006 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Goregoan and the conference will be conducted at the Intercontinental Grand, Sahar, Mumbai. More then 300 participants from the various countries will show case their innovations, R&D capabilities, machineries & equipments related to the field of chemicals, petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, process plant machinery and control & automation systems. Over 20 concerned industry associations, various government departments, different state governments and leading corporate houses have also agreed to provide official support for the event, informed the organizers. While Italy would be participating as the partner country, Japan would participate as the guest country and Germany would be the country in focus. The event would see the participation of leading companies and exhibitors from Australia, Canada, China, Israel, Japan, Russia, Spain, USA, Germany, Italy, Brazil and the South-East Asian Nations. The State of Gujarat and The Dept of Chemicals & Petrochemicals have agreed to forge an association with India Pharma-2006, as a Partner State. Maharashtra will be represent by various PSUs like a MIDC, pollution control board etc and, Andhra Pradesh, being pharma hub is also making their presence felt by participating in a big way. The conference is expected to have a galaxy of eminent speakers from India as well as abroad, including The Prime Minister of India, the Union Minister for Chemicals & Fertilizers, The Chief Minister of Maharashtra, The Secretary- Dept of Chemicals & Petrochemicals and other Ministries of the Government of India.
