The 5th ECTMIH to be held in Amsterdam on May 24-28, 2007

The Netherlands Society of Tropical Medicine and International Health in association with The Federation of European Societies for Tropical Medicine International Health, is organising the '5th European Conference on Tropical Medicine and International Health (ECTMIH)' on May 24-28, 2007 at Amsterdam RAI Exhibition and Congress Centre, Amsterdam, the Netherlands. The theme chosen is partnership and innovation in global health, expressing the need for collaboration to develop the quality of global health and achieve some of the millennium development goals. Global collaboration means collaboration between North and South, South and South, North and North, and East and West. Furthermore, innovation is important to be able to attempt to control the major problems of international health. The upcoming congress in Amsterdam is welcoming every health professional to create a platform where all issues concerning global health may be addressed, such as issues of public health, clinical tropical medicine, health economics, poverty, basic science, diagnostics and therapeutics. The conference programme will be composed of parallel and plenary sessions, satellite symposia and side meetings. Where we are? Interactive clinical case sessions and poster presentations.
