Zenitix Biosciences to offer solutions in life science, healthcare informatics soon

The Hyderabad-based Zenitix Biosciences, a newly established next generation products and services company, is planning to deliver solutions in life science and healthcare informatics. Based on its expertise in the Informatics and Bio-IT fields, Zenitix proposes to offer original knowledge-discovery solutions that help end users to shape up their discovery modelling. M Sunil Kumar, vice-president, Discovery Informatics, Zenitix, told Pharmabiz, that Zenitix would reduce the total cost of ownership of software and the time to market. The company is looking at filling the gaps left over by the current software vendors in India. The company plans to offer services in the areas of cheminformatics, bioinformatics, drug discovery and IT. A full-fledged software platform will be ready by January 2007. The company is to offer customized services and innovative products that ensure solutions for customer's problems. Zenitix ensures solutions like access and share heterogeneous or dispersed data, integrate and enhance access to prediction and analysis tools, automation analysis workflows and processes, data capture and storage of information and data mining and visualisation. Zenitix, established in November 2005 is progressing its work on various modules and expects to be ready with three modules by September 2006. Soon, some of these modules can be implemented in small and medium enterprises that are in research. The company is also developing a platform to meet Process Analytical Technology (PAT) needs, which is promoted by US FDA. Zenitix's Core Research Group has conceptualised and developed the architecture for ZAZEN, a comprehensive decision analytics and knowledge management platform developed to address the needs of life sciences, chemistry, and clinical research organisations. ZAZEN extends the data-information-knowledge paradigm by adding decision component to accelerate product development with integrated quality management thus improving the revenue cycles, Shreeram Dittakavi, Zenitix, said. The company will also offer a laboratory infrastructure and information management system, cLIMIcal, for clinical research organizations. cLIMIcal delivers three major functions for a CRO-Electronic Data Capture, Laboratory Information Management and Clinical Data Management. This will be ready by mid September 2006.
