India to send pharma delegation to Luxembourg to explore collaborations

India will be sending a delegation to Luxembourg comprising representatives of pharma industry to explore possible areas of cooperation including technology sharing. This was disclosed by the Minister for Chemicals and Fertilizers and Steel, Ram Vilas Paswan, who is currently touring Europe and met Luxembourg's Minister of Economy and Foreign Trade, Jeannot Krecke to discuss bilateral trade and economic cooperation in areas of mutual interest. Krecke indicated that there is a potential for mutual cooperation in many sectors so as to make Luxembourg a hub of the European market. The Prime Minister of Luxembourg, Jean-Claude Juncker has requested India to expedite the signing of the double taxation avoidance agreement between India and Luxembourg.
