Ideal Cures plans Rs.10 crore new manufacturing facility

Ideal Cures, a Maharashtra based company into manufacturing of tablet coating system, pharmaceutical film coatings and film coating system for tablets, is planning to set up a new manufacturing facility with an estimated investment of Rs 10 crore. The unit is likely to go on stream, next year. The new plant will manufacture tablet coating and pharmaceutical film coating systems and will help to increase the production capacity of Ideal Cures by 150 per cent. Currently, the company has a capacity to manufacture 25 tonnes of tablet coating products per month, and this is estimated to reach a target of 47 tonnes per month with the new facility, according to Suresh Pareek, managing director, Ideal Cures. He said the company is also setting up a manufacturing facility outside Asia with an investment of around Rs 25 crore. Site has been identified for the facility and the civil works are on. Ideal Cures will soon add two more environment friendly, time saving and cost effective products to its product portfolio. Another plan of the company is to introduce water solvent coating system, instead of the current IPA and MDA systems. This will help in converting solvent based coating to aqueous based coating. He said three to four new courses would be added in the Coating Training Institute run by Ideal Cures to create more awareness about its products among the customers. The institute currently offers a minimum of two courses for its customers. The company has set up seven application labs in countries namely Brazil, Germany, UK, Newzealand, Indonasia, Korea and Bangladesh. The concept of application labs is to offer technological support to the customers and to train them in various applications in coating systems.
