Ideal Cures to set up new manufacturing facility

Ideal Cures, the Maharashtra based company in the field of tablet coating system, pharmaceutical film coatings and film coating system for tablets envisages big leap in growth in the coming year with its plans to set up a new manufacturing plant. Along with its plan to commence one more manufacturing facility for its existing product range, the company is also working to add two more products in the product portfolio. The works for new plant, coming up with an estimated investment of Rs 10 crore is in progress and is expected to be operational by 2007. The new plant will add 150 percent increase in its production capacity. The company, which has a capacity of 25 tonnes of tablet coating products per month, per shift, is estimated to reach a target of 47 tonnes per month per shift with the new facility, according to Suresh Pareek, managing director, Ideal Cures. However he refused to comment more on the plans at the current stage. The company's plans to set up a manufacturing facility outside Asia with an investment of around Rs 25 crore is also progressing as scheduled, he added. Ideal cures, one among the market leaders in the field, is also planning marketing expansion through costumer training for sharing its experience and knowledge by adding three to four courses at its Coating Training Institute. The institute currently offers a minimum of two courses for the customers. In another major venture, the company is planning to introduce water solvent coating system, instead of its current IPA and MDA systems. The company is also planning to convert the solvent based coating to aqueous based coating solutions, added Suresh. The company has set up seven application labs in countries namely Brazil, Germany, UK, Newzealand, Indonasia, Korea and Bangladesh. The concept of application labs is to offer technological support to the customers and to train them in various applications in coating systems. INSTACOAT, the brand film coating systems and pharmaceutical coating films of Ideal Cures, are extensively used by pharmaceutical companies for coating solid oral dosage forms to protect against deterioration by environmental factors like sunlight, temperature variations, moisture, environmental gases etc..
