The Pharmaceutical Export Promotion Council (Pharmexcil) is organising an interactive meeting on December 23, 2006 in Mumbai to discuss the issues related to pharma exports. Dr M Venkateswarlu, Drug Controller General of India and all Port Officers of Drug Dept will participate in the interactive meeting with Pharmexcil members to discuss the issues relating to pharma exports from various ports in India. Pharmexcil said it has been receiving some references from its members regarding issues being faced by them at Port offices. The DCG(I) has directed Pharmexcil to send a list of all such issues in advance so that clear guidelines can be framed or issued for the benefit of our members. Pharmexcil said its members should send their issues/problems and queries on this subject before 19/12/2006. Such issues would be compiled by Pharmexcil as general issues and forwarded to DCGI for his advance information.
