Bilcare Ltd, a Pune based pharma packaging solutions company, achieved impressive performance during the third quarter ended December 2006. Its net profit has taken quantum jump of 53.7 per cent to Rs 14.20 crore from Rs 9.24 crore in the corresponding period of last year. Similarly, its net sales moved up by 39.5 per cent to Rs 83.47 crore from Rs 59.83 crore. The sharp jump in profit pushed its EPS to Rs 10 from Rs 6.60 in the previous period.
For the nine months ended December 2006, its net profit increased by 42.5 per cent to Rs 37.14 crore from Rs 26.07 crore in the similar period of last year. The net sales increase by 38.7 per cent to Rs 234.35 crore from Rs 168.93 crore and its EPs touched to Rs 26.15 as against Rs 18.61.
Bilcare has technical agreement with Honeywell Speciality Films, a division of Honeywell International Inc., a US based global leader in diversified technology products.
