Our Bureau, MumbaiThursday, January 25, 2007, 08:00 Hrs  [IST]

Attracting unprecedented number of visitors year after year, Arab Health has successfully claimed the title of the largest healthcare show in the Middle East. Since 2001 Arab Health records a steady 25% increase in exhibition space, offering companies the opportunity to showcase their products and services in one of the fastest growing, and most lucrative healthcare markets in the world. This year's edition of the show to be held at Dubai International Exhibition Centre, Dubai, UAE from 29th January to 1st February, is expected to attract over 33,000 visitors and 2,200 exhibiting companies from about 70 countries across the world. The region's major manufactures, dealers and distributors will be displaying the latest innovations at the show. As a realisation of the growing demand from visitors and exhibitors, the show has been segmented into four dedicated industry arenas: Medlab for medical laboratory and instrumentation exhibition; International Health Services for the exhibition for hospitals and healthcare service suppliers; Pharma for international pharmacy product, equipment and services exhibition and Middle East Rehab-- a dedicated exhibition focusing on rehabilitation and physiotherapy. Thus, Arab Health leaves any aspect pertaining to the healthcare industry in the Middle East untouched making it the biggest convergence of tens of thousands of medical professionals, government officials, wholesalers, dealers and distributors. This invariably widens the opportunity for meeting the key decision-makers from local government authorities, besides sourcing new suppliers, products, information and services. The Arab Health Congress is another major attraction of the event. Considered the largest multi-track medical conference in the world, the four-day meet will present over 250 international speakers in 16 key topic areas. Fully accredited by the American Academy of Continuous Medical Education (AACME), these specialist conferences combines exhibition with education providing access to some of the most talented and qualified speakers on the international circuit. Arab Health 2007 will feature over 2000 exhibitors from 67 countries, including 30 national pavilions from Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Czech Republic, Poland, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Germany, Turkey, Holland, Italy, United Kingdom, China, India, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Iran, Brazil, Canada, USA, Egypt, Syria and Australia.
