Indegene Lifesystems to open office in Dubai

Indegene Lifesystems, India's largest medical education and medical marketing services provider, will soon launch its Middle East operations in Dubai. The company has already offices in the US and Singapore. Though no date has yet been announced for the launch, it is expected in February this year. "The Middle East market is different, but we reckon a strong presence through medical practitioners and pharma companies in the region. Going by the number of continuing medical education sessions organized for the Arab Health Congress, we are confident that our knowledge-intensive services to Middle East medical professionals will support them further," Dr. Sanjay Parikh, Director, Indegene Lifesystems told Pharmabiz. Indegene will also work in the area of pharma-bio medical industry, medical professionals, medical devices, healthcare providers, public health organizations, advocacy groups, medical associations and conference organizers. Its competencies are in medical content publishing, medical multi media and publications and clinical data analysis and medical informatics. The company has submitted its credential which will be examined and approved by the Middle East regulatory body. "We can make a head start in the region because we are already armed with the American Academy of CME which recognizes 96 councils across the globe," Dr. Parikh said. Indegene provides content services to more than 150,000 doctors across Asia, 150 Medical associations and more than 45 pharmaceutical companies across India. The company's in-house medical publishing team leverages this network to provide global quality medical content across multiple media including online/broadband, CD ROMs, Audio/Video and print.
