The second edition of Pharmintech will be held at Bologna in Italy from June 12 to 14 this year. The 3-day exhibition will offer a complete overview of the most recent solutions and technologies for the pharmaceutical, personal care and nutraceutical industry. Lucia Lamonarca of Ipack-Ima Spa, that organises the event, said that Pharmintech is a specialised, all-comprehensive, highly technological exhibition that showcases the market's best processing and packaging machinery, raw materials, infrastructures, plants, logistics, packaging materials, containers and services. Pharmintech-2007 will be held in the Bologna Exhibition Complex, one of Europe's most attractive and prestigious exhibition locations. Giving details about the exhibition, Lucia said it is the second time that the event is being organised after a gap of three years. The exhibition will offer a complete overview of the most recent solutions and technologies for the pharmaceutical, personal care and nutraceutical industry. It is a unique chance to stay updated on the international pharmaceutical, personal care and nutraceutical industry. Pharmintech-2007 puts together specific technologies, new contact opportunities and a wide range of choices under one international, exhaustive and diversified exhibition, niche and global-oriented at the same time, fulfilling the needs of the most demanding operators. Pointing towards the trend in the global scenario in the last few years, Lucia opined that the pharmaceutical industry has not only become more specialised and technologised, but has also increased the interaction between industrial structures of different nature and function in the production process. The demand for services that create business contacts is rising, especially for highly specialized ones. Pharmintech can satisfy this demand, as it is advanced, specific and all comprehensive, the proper meeting place for the decision makers of the pharmaceutical, personal care and nutraceutical industry. As India is a potential market which imports 17 per cent of the packaging machinery from Italy, we are also inviting Indian counterparts for the exhibition this time. Almost 45 per cent of registered participants are new and this in fact raises the potential for more trade and solutions. Chemtech-2007 will surely pave way for the same, Lucia said.
