Mead Johnson Nutritionals has recently celebrated the grand opening of its new Asia Research and Development Centre in Chon Buri, Thailand.
The new R&D centre is Mead Johnson's largest such facility outside the US and employs approximately 70 scientists, paediatricians and nutritionists. Its state-of-the-art equipment will be used in the development of infant and children's powder products for both Asia and Intercontinental markets.
The guest of honour at the opening celebration was Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. Mead Johnson presented Her Royal Highness Princess Sirindhorn with a donation to the Chaipattana Foundation that will help provide nutritional products and educational assistance in several child developmental centres in the Tsunami-stricken region.
