Paresh Kirtilal Mehta, managing director of InterMed, a Mumbai-based pharmaceutical company, has been appointed as the honorary consul of Nicaragua in Mumbai. He will be the first honorary consul of Nicaragua in Mumbai.
Mehta was officially presented the credentials by Ambassador of Nicaragua in India Leopoldo Riestra at a function held in Mumbai recently. Several prominent industrialists in the pharmaceutical industry including Pharmexcil chairman Dinesh Modi and IDMA president BN Singh were present in the function.
The appointment of Mehta as honorary consul of Nicaragua in Mumbai will boost the exports to Nicaragua as a whole and pharma industry in particular.
