Pharmexcil organises meeting for herbal, ayurveda exporters to Russia

Pharmaceutical Export Promotion Council (Pharmexcil) organised a meeting with ayurvedic and herbal expert from Russia S N Balyuta in Delhi and Mumbai to help the pharmaceutical exporters in ayurveda and herbal sectors to understand the registration procedures and its intricacies for exporting to Russia. While the meeting with Balyuta was held in Delhi on April 11, the meeting in Mumbai was held on April 12 in which several herbal and ayurveda exporters from different cities such as Ahmedabad, Baroda, Pune, Mumbai, etc participated. Pharmexcil Additional Executive Director Reghuveer Kini said that representatives from more than 20 companies participated in the meeting with the Russian expert, who is also the CEO of a company providing special regulatory consultancy services on herbal medicines to the Russia and Indian private authorities and government agencies for the last five years in Moscow. Kini said, the meeting was a good opportunity for the herbal and ayurveda exporters to Russia, as they got clarifications on several regulatory requirements in Russia on herbals and ayurvedic exports. Balyuta, who is also advisor to the Ministry of Health and Social Development of Russia, discussed in detail the registration procedures of Russia in the meeting.
