With an objective to meet the growing market demand for world-class process technology, instrumentation and analysis equipment in Asia, Singapore Exhibition Services will hold a four-day conference cum exhibition, CIA 2007, at Suntec Singapore, from November 27 to 30, 2007. CIA2007 is regarded as Asia's leading process engineering, controls, instrumentation and scientific event.
According to the organizers, CIA2007 is expected to help process industries enhance product quality, process safety and expand manufacturing capacity. The organizers said that the market demand in the chemical processing, oil and gas, food and beverage processing, refining, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, life sciences and research and development have reached new heights in Asia and the CIA2007 will serve as the prime business platform for global companies in the region.
The CIA2007 is expected to attract over 700 exhibiting companies from 38 countries, including China, France, Germany, Singapore, Spain and United Kingdom. The presence of major players like Merck, Varian Technologies, Millipore, Profibus Group, Iwaki, Mitsubishi and Weidmuller will boost the spirits of this four-day conference cum exhibition event, the organizers said. Apart, the event is expected to attract a host of regional trade visitors, comprising of decision makers and buyers across a broad spectrum of industries, they added.

The event will have three segments namely, ControlsAsia2007, InstrumentAsia2007 and AnalabAsia2007, according to the organizers. While, ControlsAsia2007 and InstrumentAsia2007 will focus on solutions and products for process control, measurement and testing, AnaLabAsia2007 will showcase solutions in assays and testing, chromatography, diagnostics, lab automation, microscopy, optical and image analysis, spectroscopy, filtration and separation technology and other analytical science solutions. Apart, ControlsAsia2007 and InstrumentAsia2007 will include actuators and drives, bus systems, field devices and software on plant asset management, quality assurance and test systems, enterprise resource planning and supply chain management.
The main feature of the CIA2007 will be EnviroAsia2007, which will be held alongside CIA2007. EnviroAsia2007 aims to address the international concern of sustainable development through water and environmental management solutions, the organizers said.
