Glaxo, Ranbaxy and Dr. Reddy's win best packaging awards 07

Three pharma majors, GlaxoSmithKline CH Ltd, Ranbaxy Laboratories Ltd and Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd, have won the best pharmaceutical packaging award for 2007-08. The award was instituted by India Pharmaceutical Association and Bilcare Ltd. The awards were presented on the first day of IPA Convention 2007 and Interphex India. GlaxoSmithKline won the award for best packaging in solid dosage for 'Crocin 650' and 'cold n'flu', while Ranbaxy won the award for best packaging in liquid dosage for 'twin pocket nested pou'. Dr. Reddy's bagged award for best packaging in other dosage for 'Reditux 500-injection novel tray pack'. While Nandan Chandavarkar, joint managing director, FDC Ltd, presented the awards to GlaxoSmithKline and Ranbaxy Laboratories, Subodh Priolkar, president, IPA, presented the award to Dr. Reddy's. The awards, given once in a year during national level IPA congress, is part of an effort of IPA and Bilcare to create awareness and continued education in the area of pharmaceutical packaging.
