Rath Gibson of US plans to enter India by next year

The US based Rath Gibson Inc, manufacturers of stainless steel, nickel, alloy tubing, pipe and titanium, as part of its global expansion plan is planning to foray into India, which is likely to be in next year. The company, which is a combination of three companies such as Rath Manufacturing, Gibson Co and Greenville Tube, has recently expanded its manufacturing facilities in the United States with a view to expand globally. The Indian entity of the firm, which is likely to be located in Mumbai, would be marketing the products manufactured and imported from the US. Talking to Chronicle Pharmabiz, Rath Gibson director, business development (Middle East & India), Alfredo L D'Souza said, "We are planning to enter the Indian market by next year and the company has recently expanded the manufacturing facility at the US with a primary purpose of entering India and other global markets. We, with presence in China, Bahrain, Australia, Korea and Europe, are known for the commitment to customers". The company is also planning to set up a manufacturing facility in India to cater the requirements of the Indian market. The company, which is in discussions with several Indian pharmaceutical companies like Glenmark, Dr Reddy's and Cipla and some pharmaceutical machine manufacturers, has the ISO 9000 certification and employs more than 600 people worldwide. It manufactures the finest quality precision engineered tubing for industry with materials including stainless steel, duplex stainless steel and nickel alloys. The company's tubing is available in precision welded straight lengths and coils, welded drawn and seamless. The company, which manufactures high purity and ultra high purity tubing for the pharmaceutical and biotech industries, also provides electro polishing process for minimal ID surface anomalies producing surface finishes up to True 10 and True 15 ASTM A270-S2 and ASME BPE SFT specifications.
