Ethypharm India, a wholly owned subsidiary of Ethypharm S A, France, one of world's leading drug delivery solutions companies, has appointed V.K. Singh as its chief executive officer.
As CEO, Singh will be responsible for the overall ex-India business and operation of Ethypharm, which would include marketing, manufacturing, R&D and operations in India and in attached markets of the Indian subcontinent, Sri Lanka, and emerging markets of Latin America, CIS and Middle East.
A Chemical Engineer from IIT Kanpur and an MBA from Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, New Delhi, Singh has over 19 years of experience in sales and marketing, business development, strategy and planning with different Indian and international companies. Prior to joining Ethypharm, Singh worked with Ranbaxy Laboratories in different positions in the API business, and formulation business development and licensing in Europe and USA. His last position was as director, corporate development at Ranbaxy.
