MCC approval for Orchid's formulation facilities

The Chennai-based, global pharma major Orchid Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals Ltd. has announced that its formulation facilities, comprising the cephalosporin plant and penicillin plant have been approved by the Medicines Control Council (MCC), South Africa. These facilities manufacture a range of cephalosporin and penicillin injections. The approval once again validates the compliance standards of Orchid's facilities in line with the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) regulations. This approval will pave the way for Orchid's entry into the South African market based on specific product filings and approvals.
