After opening its Botox Institute in Mumbai, the Allergan India has launched the institute in New Delhi as well. It is part of the company's plan to open a series of such institutes in the country to impart the best-in-class training to the doctors on the use of Botox, a neuromodulator for cosmetic and therapeutic indications.
Rajeev Negi, director of sales and marketing, Botox India, said, "As the changing lifestyle and desire to look good is rapidly increasing among the people of India, they are looking for some of the best therapeutic options available in the market, and when Botox is having a good experience in treating the age related problems like wrinkles, they are now having a better option to become young once again by using our product".
"But, there are only a few doctors who actually know how and where to use injections and in which manner so that the effect of the medicine could be optimized. With this purpose, our company has planned to open this training to the doctors to keep them informed about the use of Botox", he said.
