Wockhardt Hospitals offers 'The Nest' dedicated to maternity care

Wockhardt Hospitals, one of India's leading super-specialty hospital groups, has introduced 'The NEST', an exclusive service dedicated to maternity care at its Bangalore facility located on Bannerghatta Road. The NEST is a maiden initiative by Wockhardt Hospitals Women Careto provides care for the entire nine months of pregnancy. The concept is based on offering a comprehensive delivery service keeping in mind two big concerns of safety and care during pregnancy and delivery. A team representing five specialties namely gynaecologists, obstetricians and backed by American board certified neonatologists and critical care specialists and specialists from other disciplines, supported by qualified nurses and paramedics will man The Nest. As a premium offering, The NEST is equipped with 13 LDRP Suites (Labor Delivery Recovery Postpartum) which comes with luxurious interiors and latest equipment and techniques for delivery. Each suite has a theme, based on four seasons of the year; one can choose a room to suit the time of the delivery. A special TLC privilege package takes care of an expecting mother's requirement right from their second trimester at The Nest. Other than LDRP suites, The NEST offers a wide range of rooms. All these rooms have been designed keeping in mind the ease of use and comfort. According to Vishal Bali, CEO Wockhardt Hospitals Group, "The NEST is dedicated to the safety of mothers and their babies. It is about a new approach towards caring for mothers and their babies by supporting the birthing experience with an environment of specialty care". The range of treatment packages including Tender Loving Care (TLC) Privilege Package, which takes care of the would-be mother for the whole nine months, Ante-Natal Programme, which prepares both to-be mother and father physically and emotionally for the birth of the baby. "Late pregnancies and premature birthing are a rising phenomenon, good neonatal services with sound clinical protocols can give expectant mothers the confidence that their new borns will be in safe environments.
