AMMOI conducts national seminar on Ayurveda

With an aim to bring modern technologies into the traditional ayurvedic sector, Ayurvedic Medicine Manufacturers Organisation of India (AMMOI) has organised a national seminar to create awareness on the need to implement modern techniques in ayurveda. The seminar would be conducted at Hotel Elite International, Thrissur, Kerala, on March 30, 2008. The seminar would feature awareness classes by experts in the field, apart from a workshop on modern scientific instruments under the Thrissur-based Sterling Test House. The seminar, organised under the aegis of Department of Ayush, would also feature an exhibition of the modern instruments. While Dr P R Krishnakumar, CMD, Care Keralam would engage a session on global trends in ayurveda, Dr T S Murali, manager, R&D, Arya Vaidya Sala, would talk about modern parameters to ensure the quality of finished ayurveda drugs at the seminar.
