The Pune based biotech company Advance Bio Agro Tech Ltd (ABTL) has signed global marketing and manufacturing agreement with European pharmaceutical company Huvepharma. The new venture would focus on developing, manufacturing and marketing human and animal health product which will be beneficial to the Indian consumers.
The company will be responsible for making a wide range of feed additives, specifically in the segment like probiotics, prebiotics, enzymes and a focused set of anticoccidials. Next to the feed additives a broad set of veterinary products would be offered including treatments for respiratory diseases like mycoplasma infections and multiple gastrointestinal infections.
In an interaction with Pharmabiz, OP Singh, MD, Advance Bio Agro Tech Ltd said, "India being one of the fastest growing economies, the new venture will keep emphasis on quality products more over to ensure output of qualitative food product from the country. As India is becoming an attractive business destination, the new venture would also be a vibrant option for exploring future investment plans".
The agreement is a significant move towards enabling both the organization to be more responsive to market changes, to develop multi purpose production, more competitive to offer and to enlarge product portfolio with the Asian region. This venture will continue to expend in future by forging various relationship and proposals, in order to bridge advanced technological gaps and opportunities to services. The new infrastructure in India would help the organization to join the expansion and subsidiaries in Bulgaria, Belgium, Italy, Poland, USA, Russia, China, Taiwan and Thailand.
