Nandan Biomatrix Ltd (NBL), a Hyderabad-based manufacturer of standardized herbal extracts, lifestyle and healthcare products, launched an aphrodisiacs product, Bio-Rhythm, in the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad.
Announcing the launch of Bio-Rhythm, the company said it contains pure standardized safed musli extract that fills the gap in the management of male sexual dysfunctions. The company claimed that Bio-Rhythm found to increase libido, reduce stress and improve energy. The company, which launched the product in the twin cities, is planning to launch the same throughout India by the year end. Nandan is expecting to generate Rs 5 crore in the first year from the domestic market. It is also planning to launch the product in Malasiya, Thailand, Mynmar, Hungary, Republic of Yemen and Canada in the future.
According to the company, Bio-Rhythm has clinically proven and efficacy and toxicity studies have been carried out to prove its efficacy and safety profile. The studies revealed that it reduces fatigue, tiredness, stress, acts as antioxidant and increases sexual desire, sperm quality and quantity. The safety studies prove that it is safe for human consumption and suitable for long term usage.
Current global aphrodisiac market is valued approximately at US$3.8 billion and is expected to touch US $6.6 billion by 2012, while that of the Indian market is approximately Rs 200 crore.
