CREMA launches one year APGDCR course

CREMA (Clinical Research Education and Management Academy), a premier institute that offers state-of-the art education in clinical research, is offering Advanced Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Research (APGDCR), at its centres in Bengaluru, Mumbai and Delhi from this academic year. APGDCR is a full-time, one year course, along with two months of internship in a reputed clinical research organization. It can be done while working part time. Life science graduates and graduates in pharmacology are eligible to apply for the course. Admission has already begun for the course, which will start from the third week of August. In May, CREMA formed a joint venture with Canada-based Clinical Research International, by which students can enrol for online certification courses. The one-year online certification course will be offered to all students enrolling for APGDCR programme offered by CREMA. "Clinical Research International is well-known globally for its online education in clinical research. Students qualifying in this course are going to get an added recognition in the industry. The online certification will be particularly helpful for those students looking to work overseas," said Vijay Moza, chairman, CREMA. Clinical Research International is a global online training company based in Toronto, Ontario, with offices in the US. The training program is web-based modules offered by Clinical Research International. There will be online exam conducted by Clinical Research International and successful students will be awarded certification. Over 300 students have enrolled for various courses in clinical research at CREMA. It has designed a unique LIFSP (Learning by Industry -Faculty -Student partnership) model that establishes a close relationship between the three entities involved in the process - the student, the faculty and the industry. The institute has specially designed an industry-driven curriculum with the learner's objectives in mind. The curriculum will be upgraded on a regular basis to enable students and practitioners to stay up-to-date with prevailing practices and technologies impacting clinical research industry.
