FIPE gets registration of incorporation

The Federation of Indian Pharma Entrepreneurs (FIPE) has been granted registration of incorporation by the Registrar of Societies. FIPE is a federation, which was formed last year, of pharma manufacturers in the states of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand, the two states which have witnessed the concentration of pharma units over the last some years after the central government announced these states as tax holiday states to attract industries to these industrially backward states. FIPE spokesman B R Sikri said that after receiving the registration, the organisation has written letters to all the concerned departments in the government of India as well as to state Licensing Authorities (SLAs) to incorporate the Federation's name in the mailing list so that as and when they conduct any meeting, the FIPE is also invited along with other associations like IDMA, OPPI, CIPI, etc. Sikri said that like minded people from HP and Uttarakhand (formulators) felt the need of making a federation and all the associations of these states as well as more than 100 formulators have taken the membership of the Federation till now. The office-bearers of the federation are: D C Jain of Akums patron, Umesh Sanghi advisor, R K Arora chairman, Vinod Kalani co-chairman, B R Sikri general secretary and B K Gupta treasurer. There are 35 office-bearers and executive members who represent their respective areas from Baddi, Solan, Poanta Sahib, Kala Amb, etc. from HP and Roorkee, Hardwar, Dehradoon etc. from Uttarakhand.
