Aditya Jyot Eye Hospital launches 4th generation OCT machine

Aditya Jyot Eye Hospital, one of the leading eye hospital and institutes in Mumbai, launched the latest 4th generation Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) which will combine evaluation of retina, cornea and glaucoma in one. The state of the art Optovue RTvue 100 - 3D fourier domain OCT machine with its unique software capabilities will enable precise and thorough eye evaluation. Union minister Sushil Kumar Shinde and model Aditi Govitrikar inaugurated the new facility at the Aditya Jyot hospital which is the first hospital in Mumbai to launch such a facility. Marking years of dedicated efforts towards eradicating blindness and providing vision for one and all, Aditya Jyot also celebrated its 18th anniversary last week. Besides live demo of the new machine by Dr S Natarajan, chairman and medical director of Aditya Jyot Eye Hospital, free eye consultation for all, regarding the best course of action for common eye ailments such as Cataract, Diabetic Retinopathy, Age Related Macular Degeneration and LASIK laser correction of spectacle numbers, was one of the highlights at the inaugural function. Aditya Jyot Eye Hospital, encompasses all ophthalmic specialities under one roof, under the able and inspiring leadership of Dr S Natarajan whose father and grandfather were also Ophthalmologists of repute. Dr Natarajan is one of the most high profile young surgeons and has received accolades from around the world. He has maintained keen interest in academics throughout his clinical practice.
