Bilcare Global Clinical Supplies (GCS), a leading single-source provider of clinical trial supplies and services, has substantially expanded its global distribution and warehousing capabilities for clinical trial supplies. Bilcare GCS has formalized its working relationship by signing a service agreement with World Courier to utilize depots in Argentina, Brazil, Columbia, Chile, Mexico, Peru, and Russia. The new locations supplement Bilcare's existing network with locations in India, Wales and the United States. Additional global depot locations are planned in the near future. "Clinical trials are increasing globally; Bilcare, as a full-service partner to the pharmaceutical industry, is ensuring that we have resources available to clients before they need them," said Vito Mangiardi, chief executive officer of Bilcare GCS. "We are able to seamlessly execute international transactions, including customs and door-to-door delivery, all on a local level. This means clear communication, so there are no delays for sponsors, physicians or patients." The World Courier depot sites offer a full range of services, just as Bilcare has at its other global depots. Bilcare will be able to receive, control, verify and store client materials in temperature-controlled facilities providing specialty storage conditions, pick-and-pack handling, and certified delivery to client-designated locations.
