The Delhi branch of Indian Pharmaceutical Association (IPA) is organising a workshop on 'GMP and regulatory' here on November 16, in connection with the 47th national pharmacy week 2008.
Vice president of FIP and professional secretary of SEARPharm Forum Prafull D Sheth will be the chief guest for the opening function of the pharmacy week which has the theme of 'ask your pharmacist: for safe use of prescription medicines,' according IPA branch president Dr Praveen Khullar.
Together with, it is organising second one-day programme on GMP and regulatory which will provide an understanding of the key areas of regulatory affairs and the GMP practices. It will shed focuses on regulatory affairs in the US, EU, ASEAN regions as well. Experts will be leading the sessions to be attended by the executives involved in production, regulatory affairs, quality assurances, quality control, and drug formulation apart from teachers and students.
Apart from Prafull D Sheth, experts like Prafulla Nadi of Dabur Pharma, Dr Praveen Kullar of Sanofi Aventis Group, Vikram Shukla of Zydus Hospital, and senior officials from drug control departments will be leading the sessions, a release said.
