Piramal Healthcare Limited announced the appointment of Sudarshan Jain as director of its Healthcare Solutions business. Jain will be responsible for the domestic branded formulations business called Healthcare Solutions, which is currently ranked fourth in the Indian pharmaceutical market with a diverse product portfolio spanning nine therapeutic areas.
With over 31 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, Jain has an impressive track record of building numerous power brands. An alumnus of IIM Ahmedabad, Jain is a member of the Advisory Board of NMIMS University. He is also a member of the OPPI, BMA and CII Healthcare Committee and vice chairman of the Marketing Committee of the OPPI and is the recipient of multiple awards.
Before joining the Piramal Group, Jain worked with Abbott India, the fastest growing MNC, as director - Marketing, with Johnson & Johnson as Group product manager and at Lupin Laboratories Pvt Ltd as deputy manager, Sales Promotion and Training.
