PentaBase bags best young European high-tech biotech company award

PentaBase has been ranked number one among the best young European high-tech biotech companies. The award was given by the expert panels at the conference European Venture Summit held in Düsseldorf, December 1 and 2. "This is second time that we are awarded with the title 'Best Presenting Company' and we believe that it illustrates the positive developments and the high potential of PentaBase," says Ulf B Christensen CEO of the company. The companies were valued on the following parameters: Business potential, Product/Technology merit, Team experience, Competitive position, Investment or partnering interest, Company Profile Sheet (CPS) quality and finally Company Presentation quality at Forum. With a maximum score of 70 PentaBase received an impressive 58.2 - average among all the companies being 40.7. The top-five biotech company list is - PentaBase ApS (DK), Cardiola AG (CH), RESprotect GmbH (DE), Transinsight (DE) and Integromics SL (ES) PentaBase, situated in Denmark, was founded in 2006 by the inventor of the DNA analogues Hydrophobic Nucleic Acid, HyNA and Intercalating Nucleic Acid, INA.
