Global Healthcare Pvt Ltd (Medicity), a state-of-the-art medical centre has now installed SAP ERP ECC 6.0 application as the standard technology platform to streamline its operations.
Supported by the flexible SAP NetWeaver technology platform, SAP for Healthcare will help Medicity anticipate, rapidly adapt and cope with fast evolving business needs and patient services. In addition, SAP for Healthcare can enable operational excellence for Medicity to support patient loyalty by providing real-time business visibility.
The medical centre headed by cardiac surgeon Dr Naresh Trehan, opted for SAP solution because it is a vital differentiator in achieving clinical and business objectives. It will also help the integration and optimization of its back office operations.

Medicity is clinically designed on the model of global centres of excellence like the John Hopkins and Mayo Clinic of the US. With an investment of $350-million spread over 43 acres in Gurgaon, it plans to integrate 20 super specialties and alternative medicine therapies like cardiology, neurosciences, oncology, and high-end orthopaedics among others. As the project continues to expand its infrastructure to include its super specialty facilities, research laboratories, education, residential facilities and attendant accommodation facilities, SAP driven technology will be integral in providing a common information platform. With SAP deployment, Medicity will be able to augment its operational processes for optimized performance and management. SAP implementation for Medicity at Gurgaon is a Greenfield project.
