Aurobindo Pharma Limited, Hyderabad based generic pharmaceuticals and active pharmaceutical ingredients manufacturing company, received approval for its Abbreviated New Drug Submission Terbinafine tablets 125mg and 250mg from Health Canada.
Terbinafine (Terbinafine Hydrochloride) tablets 125mg and 250mg is the generic equivalent of Novartis Pharmaceutical Canada Inc's Lamisil tablets 125mg and 250mg, which is indicated for the treatment of fungal infections of the skin and nails.
This is Aurobindo's fifth product approval from Health Canada, a company press release stated.
