IIPS to organise IP colloquium on 'broadening IP horizons in pharma industry'

In an attempt to provide first-hand insight into current issues involving intellectual property rights, NMIMS University's Institute of Intellectual Property Studies (IIPS) would organise an intellectual property (IP) colloquium on 'Broadening IP Horizons in Pharma, Software and Entertainment Industry' on March 18, 2009 at Mayfair Banquets, Mumbai. The proposed IP colloquium would be held in association with Boult Wade Tennant, European patent and trademark attorneys, chartered patent attorneys and Legasis Partners, advocates and solicitors, India. "The colloquium has been designed for executives, managers in SMEs and entrepreneurs, including students from various industry/disciplines like pharma, IT-telecom and entertainment, as part of our efforts to provide insight into a gamut of issues revolving around the protection of IP. Well known industry experts and legal professionals will address the seminar to equip the participants with skills and tools so essential to the management and development of their intellectual assets," said the organisers.
