PerkinElmer, Inc, a global company focused on improving the health and safety of people and the environment, announced the opening of its Service Training Academy and Logistics Centre in Mumbai, India.
Dusty Tenney, president - Laboratory Services, PerkinElmer, inaugurated the centre in Mumbai. With the new centre, PerkinElmer India will further enhance the competency of its service organization, focusing on building its capabilities to meet customer requirements in an evolving marketplace. The new facility which will become fully operational in early April 2009, will shorten the response time to customers as well as improve instrument uptime.
This state-of-the-art service training academy and logistics centre coupled with the newly opened Technology Innovation Centre which is in close proximity are both located in the heart of Mumbai city and will provide benefits to Indian customers.
