Ninth edition of Bangalore Bio to commence from June 18-20

Bangalore Bio 2009, the flagship Biotechnology Event in India, promoted by the Department of IT and Biotechnology, Government of Karnataka and the Vision Group on Biotechnology will be held between June 18-20, 2009 at Bangalore. Over the last eight years the event has emerged as the largest congregation of India's Biotech community generating tremendous interest and response worldwide. India is fast finding a place amongst the top 10 Biotech Hubs in the world with its biotech industry emerging as a preferable destination for business and investment. This is where Bangalore Bio 2009 is viewed as an ideal platform to network with the leaders in life sciences industry, policy makers, researchers and the scientific community as they gather for meaningful discussions of key issues, challenges, trends and developments under one roof, according to the organizers. Bangalore Bio's strategic tie-up with the TVG Group, world leaders in bio-partnering at this year's event is expected to act as a much needed catalyst in today's trying times by enhancing networking opportunities. This alliance will act as a catalyst & pioneer hundreds of pre-scheduled one-to-one meetings making this years event an unrivalled forum for companies across the biotech value-chain to meet and do business, stated the organizers. Its Multi Track conference will attract the participation of global experts from Industry, research and regulatory fields to enable knowledge sharing and enhance networking opportunities among various stake holders of the Biotech fraternity. The conference will focus on five powerful tracks with a total of 22 informative and interactive sessions.
