The second Annual Conference of the Consortium of Indian Pharmaceutical Manufacturers and Marketers Association (CIPMMA) will be held in Trichy on May 1. Dr N Balasubrahmanian, Dean of the Dr K A P V Government Medical College and Annal Gandhi Memorial Government Hospital, Trichy will be the chief guest of the Conference. Chairman of the Confederation of Indian Pharmaceutical Industry (CIPI), T S Jaisankar will be the guest of honour.
There will be two sessions in the meeting. The first session will be presided by R B Ravisankar, state president of the organisation.
Advisor to CIPMMA, V G Somasundaram will make the inaugural speech. Jaisankar will speak on "Opportunities for Pharma SME in India, and Functions of CIPI".
Advocate .A V Vamanakumar from Kerala High Court will deliver speech on 'Business Leadership -A New Challenge'.
R B Ravishankar, State General Secretary of CIPMMA, A Kannan, Treasurer, S Paneerselvam, organising committee members S Nagaraju, M Karuppaiah and S Murugapandian will speak among others.
In the second session, state vice-president A Karunalkadai will preside. There will be discussions on various subjects by members of the organisation.
The chief guest Dr Balasubrahmanian will release a souvenir in the conference. It will be held at Hotel Breeze Residency, Trichy from 10 am onwards.
