The USA-based rommelag, the innovator of blow-fill-seal (BFS) technology, with its BFS bottelpack aseptic machines for the packaging of sterile liquids, creams and ointments, is fast becoming a name in the global pharma industry by meeting international customers' increasing requirements. rommelag is a worldwide leading manufacturer and supplier of BFS bottelpack aseptic machines. "Our international customers' expanding requirements in the field of pharmaceuticals are continuously met by our newly developed strategies and our ongoing developments. As a leading manufacturer of packaging machines, rommelag designs, develops and manufactures its machines step by step from the design of the packaging system to possible subsequent machines," according to the company sources. "Our special responsibility lies in developing guidelines for the solution of all our customer's requirements. Additionally we offer complete finishing lines as well as leak detectors and cap welding machines," the company sources added. rommelag's bottelpack machines are current good manufacturing practices (cGMP) and Food and Drug Administration (FDA) compliant. Bottelpack aseptic machines are designed in a modular structure and have an integrated clean room class A (US-class 100) with additional dark/white-machine separation. The fully automatic machines work either cycled with one and two moulds or continuously with rotating mould chains and are CIP/SIP-capable. "The machine capacities vary depending on the product filled and the container design used to up to 30,000 containers per hour with container sizes from 0.1 ml to more than 1,000 ml. The filling of each container by means of the time-pressure-dosing system is extremely accurate. Plastic materials used are polyethylene LDPE, MDPE and HDPE, polypropylene PP, polyethylenterephthalat PET and others. With bottelpack CoEx machines we manufacture multi layer containers with barrier layers for the packaging of supersensitive products," the company sources apprised. With the new BFS bottelpack machine generation all hydraulic drives are exchanged by electronic servo drives thus further improving the process reliability. The company is all set to exhibit its machine at ACHEMA Germany at hall 3.0, booth B12-C17.
