Fortis Healthcare Ltd and S L Raheja Hospital have entered into a strategic tie up to bring world class healthcare to Mumbai. Fortis has assumed charge of operations and management of 280-bedded super specialty S L Raheja Hospital. This is the fourth hospital added to its network during last few months. Fortis already has a presence in Mumbai with a hospital at Vashi, Navi Mumbai.
The recently added hospital is located in Central Mumbai and surrounded by densely populated residential colonies. Its proximity to the emerging business hub of Mumbai-Bandra Kurla Complex and connectivity through Suburban Railways as well as the new Bandra-Worli sea link makes it easily accessible.

Fortis is now a network of 28 hospitals with capacity to increase inpatient beds to 3280 beds.
