Overwhelming response to HealthCare - BioPharma Job Fair at Hyderabad

With participation of leading companies, 'Healthi Jobfair 2009' was a big success as more than expected candidates approached for seeking new job opportunities. Leading healthcare, life sciences medical Pharma and biotech companies like Biocon, Wockhardt Hospitals, Apollo Hospitals, Mediciti Hospital, Medplus, GI Systems, MSN Pharma, Bristle cone Hospitals and Capricorn Pharma participated in this job fair. The fair attracted thousand of candidates with different qualifications and experience in the field of healthcare, pharma, biotech and life sciences domain from across the country. Initially expected between 1000 to 2000 jobseekers and unemployed youth visiting to the Job fair but the number crossed 4000 participants on the first day, and on the second day the total number crossed more than 7000 participants. Huge crowd of unemployed youths and jobseekers arrived here in batches from across Andhra Pradesh, Ahmedabad (Gujarat), Orissa, Kerala and Karnataka in search of employment in the field of healthcare, pharma, biotech and life sciences domain from across India. Speaking to media on the occasion, Mahesh Malneedi, president of Makro Group said that 'Healthi Job Fair 2009' is a new direction for healthcare, pharma, biotech and life sciences domain as till date they are ignored and kept away form job fairs, as earlier job fairs are limited to IT or BPO and no attempt was made by anyone to bring healthcare and pharma jobs to one platform. We made a solid mark in the pharma and healthcare industries with this event.' This job fair was a bit different than other fairs by including free career sessions and conducted at town hall meetings with thousand of jobseekers / participants taking their career related questions so as to add additional value to them. Dr Vijaysekhar (MakroCare), Dr Rajsekhar (MakroHealth), Dr Diana (consultant), CREMA clinical research institute conducted some sessions in their field of expertise. Similar, 'Healthi Job Fair 2009' will also be organised at New Delhi (November 7 & 8), Mumbai (November 14 & 15), and Bengaluru (November 21 & 22).
