National Research Development Corporation (NRDC) in association with the Center for Emerging Technologies, Jain University, Bangalore is organizing ‘Innovate India 2009’ event on November 19 to 20, 2009 at J N Tata Auditorium, Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore.
The two day event will focus on the process of innovation and technology commercialization. It will address some of the critical issues associated with the innovation systems in the country.
The event is a platform to provide interaction and linkages to entrepreneurs, research scientists, technologists, industrialists, policy makers, investors, bureaucrats and evangelists. It will highlight new and emerging technologies from both the R&D sector and the industry, said V Raghuram, regional manager, National Research Development Corporation.
The conference theme is ‘Leveraging Innovation for Knowledge Economy'. The focus of the conference is on innovation in industrial & manufacturing technologies, medical innovation in the changing healthcare needs, business intelligence and strategic planning.
The conference will allow networking with R&D institutions, entrepreneurs, industrialists, policy makers and investors. It will help the participants to understand the level of Public-Private Partnership (PPP) and research collaboration between academia, industry and the Government.
There is also an invitation for paper presentations. Papers will be selected for presentation during the event and also publication in the conference souvenir after review of the same. The papers should reach the organizers son or before October 31, 2009.
