GVK Biosciences (GVK BIO), an India-based, full-service Contract Research Organization (CRO) has teamed up with ResearchPoint Global (RPG). The company will now provide RPG access to an extensive network of experienced and proven investigative sites and country-specific regulatory, clinical and technical expertise.
RPG’s expansion into India offers numerous advantages for running clinical trials: a large population, qualified medical personnel, and well-established regulations. GVK BIO complements RPG’s current presence in the Americas, Europe (Western, Central, and Eastern) and Africa.
As the growth of India’s participation in global clinical programmes continues to increase at a rapid pace, RPG strategically sought to expand its reach to this region. According to The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc., “India presents an attractive region for clinical trials given a population of over one billion, a large number of English-speaking patients, and a well developed information technology industry.”
