Aurobindo Pharma has received the approval for its Abbreviated New Drug Submission for Topiramate tablets 25mg, 50mg, 100mg and 200mg from Health Canada.
Topiramate tablet 25mg, 50mg, 100mg and 200mg is the generic equivalent of Janssen-Ortho Inc, Canda's Topamax tablets 25mg, 50mg, 100mg and 200mg. Topiramate tablets are indicated as adjunctive therapy for patients with partial onset seizures or primary generalized tonic-clonic seizures and falls under the Central Nervous System (CNS) therapeutic category.
This is Aurobindo's ninth product approved from Health Canada.
