Dev Pharmacy to launch herbal oil to prevent baldness

The Noida-based Dev Pharmacy Pvt Ltd, which has been in the Ayurvedic drug business for the last over 20 years, will soon launch an anti baldness oil called Dev hair oil. This herbal hair oil is expected to be effective against baldness and will be launched within two to three months. The herbal based coconut oil will be very effective in preventing as well as controlling untimely baldness in both men and women. This product is priced between Rs 200 to 300 and will be first launched in Orissa, Assam and Bengal simultaneously. According to Dr N G Dev, managing director of Dev Pharmacy, the company is focusing only on expanding and strengthening its base in India. However, he also expressed hope that in the near future they may think of expanding their reach in Europe as well, as they have got a very positive response from the European nations. The company has its presence in almost all over India but major chunk of its business comes fromeastern region of the country. Dev Pharmacy was started by Dr Nani Gopal in the year 1989 with initial investment of Rs 5 lakh. Since then, the company has been witnessing a steady growth. Dev Pharmacy has a range of products that caters to renal, chronic amoebic colitis, dermal diseases, gastrointestinal diseases, cough and cold and many other gynec problems. The company has a good market share in the health tonic section. Some of their notable products are Kidon Syrup and Capsules, Ashoka Capsules and Syrups, Metrol Capsules and Syrups, Deproshy Capsules, etc. One of its product Dev Churan is well known and is widely consumed for constipation.
