Leading Asian expo explores Chinese market

CPhI China , the largest annual networking event for the Asian pharmaceutical community,focusing on intermediates and APIs, targeting professionals in the pharmaceutical and fine chemical ingredients industries, is expected to attract more than 20,000 visitors, including 7,000 from outside China. Now in its tenth year, CPhI China was joined by ICSE China in 2005, P-MEC China in 2006 and making its debut in China , BioPh China in 2010. CPhI China, along with co-located events will be held from June 2 to 4 at Shanghai New International Expo Center. The events are supported by the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Medicines and Health Products (CCCMHPIE) and are organised in conjunction with UBM International Media's sister organisation, UBM Sinoexpo. While ICSE covers contract services, P-MEC covers machinery and equipment , the new event for 2010 – BioPh covers research and development of new treatment methods made through biotechnological processes.
